Hello Roadsters, I am eargerly awaiting my MK IV delivery on this coming Wed. I am going to use a rolling dolly to put under the chassi. Can anyone tell me the width of the two tubes under the chassis?

4" tube, 24" center to center.

4" outside diameter I'm guessing? I'm not quite as close to delivery but I need something to keep my brain busy. What is the length of the main tubes?

For my MkIV delivery, I built a cart using a large furniture dolly from Harbor Freight (about $15). I screwed a piece of 3'x4' plywood on the dolly. The driver was able to place the roadster right on the dolly and it was easily pushed around the garage until I put the chassis on jackstands. The price of the dolly was much cheaper than buying four wheels and the wood for the frame. Am now using the dolly for my engine.
