Valve Lash question

I followed the standard practice of adding 1/2 turn of preload but I am still getting some valve noise. Curious if anyone has followed the Engine Factory advice in the video below of adding a full turn of pre-load.

I have seen 1/2 turn past 0 valve lash most of the time when I have referenced it. I believe Crane was one of those sites. Since I'm using Crane roller rockers, I went with that number. The error factor that will determine the accuracy of your adjustment is your take on 0 lash. A little variation one way or another will account for 1/4 to 1/2 turn so it makes since that there is some variation in the literature. The way I pull the pushrod down to where it won't turn may be a little tighter than if you stop right at the moment it quite turning if that makes sense (a matter of touch). Good luck, WEK.

in my opinion a full turn after zero lash is too much. It may not allow your valve to not fully close.
