Converting Polisher from elastic hoods to hookit/adhesive pads?

I have a random-orbital 9" polisher that uses elastic terry or wool hoods. I'd like to convert it to use either the hook and loop or adhesive backed foam pads. Is anyone aware of a conversion kit to do this? I've searched online and haven't found anything. I guess the simplest way to do it would be to glue a sheet of hook and loop to the existing pad backing but the hook and loop on the Hookit pads is very fine and I haven't been able to find any of it.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

They are not designed for a random orbital sander, not sure how well they would work....thats really only for wax not sanding........Steven
