Really great presentation! The same stuff with a little tweeking has a much more dramatic effect. So is this the prototype video for SEMA? With a few moving body shots it should turn a lot of heads. WEK.

HOLY COW!!!!!!! That body is SWEET! Hair is now officially on fire. I've been away for a vacation for a week and could not log in. Boy, what a return home present. Great video. BTW.... is the dash not functional yet? I didn't see any of the guages moving.

Great job on the video!
I had to watch the video close a few times. Looks like the car is real responsive! This is great! Looks like a blast to drive.
Is that Jim driving? If it is, and we all know how he is a big guy, he sure doesn't look that big in the car, which is good if it is Jim driving, for all of those who are tall.

How tall is Jim?
If I had to guess I would say 5'9ish. There seems to be good space in the car for sure, but as I've learned with the roadster it's not just height, but how someone is proportioned makes a big difference as well. I'm 5 inches taller then my wife but have to move the seat forward when I get into her car because I have shorter legs.

I noticed on the video that the lower front control arm is aluminum. My 2002 WRX donor's is steel. I thought we were going to use donor control arms? Will my steel one work? Did later WRX's have alum.?

STIs and 2006 WRX (only 2006) had the aluminum control arms. FFRs donor is a '06.
The aluminum arms are stronger, but not really much lighter. So on the tube frame 818, it won't matter much. A front wheel crunch with the steel arms tends to destroy the arms, while the same accident with aluminum arms tends to bend subframes. They originally came out of Subarus Group N rally efforts, which call for stock parts - So Subaru released a 'strong enough for ralling' stock part.
They do look pretty though.

Cool video.
That thing really looks like a go-kart on steroids, especially with the engine in back. Looked pretty responsive, what's the front / rear weight distribution?

I think it's 40/60 as is and 42/58 with body.

hmmm 5.9 you think and his head sits higher than the roll bar... A little scary for me as I am close to 6.5

From the sounds of the start up it sounds like you may have a cam sensor unplugged. I would expect it to fire up quicker if it's all stock ECU and parts.
Just something to check, I could be wrong. :) Looks pretty cool!

Im sure they will get that worked out, seats alone could make a huge difference, the ones in the car now are pretty thick.

That's going to be one wild little buggy, instrument binnacle and all. Can't wait to see one in the flesh. I see the wait won't be too long now.
