In all fairlness it could be a replacement engine. Something like that you need to send a question on it and see what the seller says. My '90 Fox Mustang has 213,000 miles on it, but only about 95K on the 347.

Some guys with money have no qualms about blowing their new junk up and putting another bullet in it. I know a guy with an '11 GT Mustang that already popped the 5.0L due to too much boost. So now it's getting forged internals and the car only has 7K miles on it.

True, but in this case (I didn't bother linking the whole thread) the coil packs were also damaged and it had 2 dropped valves. It wasn't a new engine, heh.

Used engines for sale often seem to have suspiciously low miles.

I can understand the damaged coil packs from a Total loss, but two dropped valves ?
