To anyone interested: I have negotiated a group buy rate for a 5 liter foam fire supression system from ESS. As you know one of our FF5 builders recently had a car fire and the car was destroyed. Fortunately he and his passenger got out safely, but it could have easily been a disaster. This accident sparked interest in fire supression systems, and the group buy was looked into. Please See below for details (I cut and pasted the email he sent me with the agreement). As an update, they are actually going to include an adjustable 16 foot cable if you ask for the 12 foot as they are out of the 12 foot. If you go with the 6 foot, you just get the 6 foot. No extra $ for the 16 foot above and beyond the $40 they are getting for upgrading to the longer cable (i.e. they are eating the difference because they ran out of 12 footers) You just place your order directly as noted below. Just tell them you are part of the Factory Five Forum Group Purchase.
We agreed to a discounted buy for the FF members. The standard 5.0 system normally is $510.00 (rechargeable) and we will sell them to you for $408 plus shipping. With the adjustable length 12 ft. cables ($108 list) $448. This offer will be available from now until July 30th 2012.

I will handle them personally but they must include the purchasers' name, shipping address, and a contact number and whether they want the 6ft. or the 12ft. cable. I will calculate the shipping and contact the purchaser with the total. We expect the 5.0 liter systems to be available for shipping by June 12 (we have been out) and the shipping is from 1-5 business days depending on distance.
