Windshield Screws

Anyone know of a source for the screws for the windshield? (the 8 that go into the sides)

you can get them at ace, I believe they are 10mm but not sure of the thread....Steven

Be careful putting them on. At the build school we were shown to finger tighten each one to see if it was bottomed out. The countersink is sometimes too deep, and will break the windshield when the bolt is tightened. After finger tightening each one, loosen enough so the frame moves and check the next one. If one bottoms, take a thread off and re-check for clearance. Apparently this has happened enough that the school emphasizes this.

One more thing, after finger tightening check to see if the side piece moves, a sign that the bolt is hitting the glass.

I have a box of stainless screws in 10-24x3/8, which is what my windshield had. Send me your address and I'll send you 9 (just in case). Please verify the thread pitch first.
