Hi all,
My name is Hape an I'm living in Switzerland. I also opened this thread in the Hotrod 33 Forum.
I learned a lot of the cool cars from F5. One of the facts is that the chassis and the whole mechanical parts
are either used from defined brands (e.g. Engines, brakes from Ford) and the Kit is fully standardized.
Now there is my question/request.
Since there might be a large request of you well engineered kit's, is there a possibility of streetlegal certification of you kit's in switzerland?
This process is called " type approval" and need's to be done once per kit type,
in my case/Dream a 33 Hotrod.
The target off this approval is, to proof the mechanical ability, to operate the car safe and street lega (e.g. use of sufficient brakes, lights and so on.)l on the streets in Switzerland.
This might be a good investment vor F5 to get an approval to allow us to build a street legal kit.
So do not forget that Switzerland is not a EU member so different certfication processes apply.
I and I strongly believe a lot of other swissfans, would be very happy to full fill they dreams, building a F5 car.
Thanks for your answers 😊
Best regards from Switzerland.
