SUNDAY, morning run with dog, was going to bring boat to lake but Jeep blew water pump so went to work and pulled out "BLUEBOY". Took the long way on RT 80 and 15 then as I a approached my turn off the light turned amber forcing a downshift. Now in an attempt to catch the amber at 80, first in line at the light was a Jefferson Police Officer on my left. Now here I am, in my running shorts, no ID, dealer plate on the back, still have not figured out the harness, and wearing the latest driving flip flops. In an attempt peek behind, I realize there is no side mirror and the rear view is as big as my wife's compact so once again I downshift (no throttle this time) and take this insane off ramp leading to our local Pathmark and in my head I am already perfecting my sad tale for the officer. As I meander thru the parking lot full of holiday shoppers and runaway shopping carts, I can not believe my good fortune as there was no police car in sight. As the sky is getting dark, I head home and drive BLUEBOY in to his new vacation home. A few months ago I went on a Ebay binge and purchased a 34' Roadmaster Trailer to use as a garage-travel to corvette shows (which I hate) and playroom for my 5 year old son David and I. Oh my I cant believe its this late! I will continue another time. Ted
