Im planning to go to the Vintage fest on Sept 8, 2012. Weather permitting Im driving the Daytona and plan on doing the Noon Touring event. Im trying to get some other kit Cobra owners to attend. I have about 4 "definite maybes". Maybe we can convoy from the North side Of Milwaukee.

Gopher,
Go to Road America site. Check out the Vintage Fall Fest. If you feel lucky, preorder and save a couple bucks.
Im trying for the Saturday session. Originally it was for the Fri session, but none is scheduled.

Hope to see you,

Since its only 3 weeks away I thought i would bump this up.

Id like to meet with a bunch of replica owners at Road America and do their noon time touring.
Im hoping for Sept 8, but the bad weather date would the 9th
You dont have to thrash your vehicle.

Its great fun, and Im hoping even more so with fellow replica owners.

There isnt a Friday Touring session scheduled at Road America.

The Sat . Sept 8th is now the date to reserve. All replica owners are invited.
I found there is a Cobra Corral now, and replicas are welcome.
I talked to the Touring sponsor ( Colin Comer ) and he s looking forward to seeing a bunch of replicas.

I hope this doesnt upset too many peoples plans, but it may make it easier for others to attend.

Hi Tom,

I'll check my schedule for that Saturday. I drove my '33 street rod at RA with Shelby Club a few weeks ago and had a ball. Touring with the vintage weekends is usually a reasonable opportunity to exercise one's car for a reasonable price. I've been doing it for years (make that decades!) in a variety of cars.

Hope to see you there,

Hi Tom,

Weather permitting, I'll be there in the '33 for the Touring on Saturday and maybe Sunday.

Hi Tom,

I got there too late on Saturday to register for Touring. So, I went home and toured the lawn on my Toro!

Sorry I missed the fun.
