A friend stopped by the airport where I'm finishing 7074 today to help with the test fit of the body and we snapped this picture of his Roadster before he left. A bunch of the guys in my "neighborhood" at the airport were having a block-party of sorts for Memorial Day and there were a few cool planes parked around and taking kids for rides.

Nope - just the Hellcat from the hangar next door. There are a few T6s, T28s, a P40, and a P51 on the field, but none of them made it.

Here's a shot of the my next door neighbor's plane - it's a prototype version of the Hellcat and was deployed on the West Coast during WWII. I'm finding that the airport is a great place to finish my build, but there are quite a few distractions.
