Did you? Must you? Where? I'm building a carb'd car with a mechanical fuel pump that sits just forward of the oil filter port. It is going to be very difficult to orient the relocation manifold so the hoses attach and impossible in the forward facing direction. I can face them down and slightly rearward and have plenty of hose clearance but that means looping the hoses at least 180 degrees. The front crossmember suggested in the assembly manual seems like an ill fit - a flat surfaced plate with three holes on a significant radius. Any ideas or solutions? I'm ready to drop the engine in once I resolve this issue.

If you have the 4 into 4 headers relocating the filter is unnecessary.

Are the FF provided ones 4 into 4? I guess I should unbox them and do a trial fit anyway. Thanks for the quick reply. My build seems to be progressing really fast which seems to put me up against a new challenge every other day!

Just walked out to the garage and I now know what 4 into 4 is. And yep, that's what I have. If that's the only clearance issue, I'll just scrub the relocator. Thanks again

Jeff: now thats funny!!!!!!!
You just saved yourself some grief. Tried mine, fought a seep around the filter, and trashed it. Feel better already.
