Knock sound under braking

I can't figure this out but it happens under hard braking at slow speeds. Like even when I'm backing out of the driveway. I think I'm feeling it through the steering but it's hard to tell. Anyone else have this? Seems like it might be a ball joint but everything is tight. All the front end is tightened up and of course it's all new.

I'd check the rear end also, you'd be surprised. My 57 chevy did the same thing, I thought it was in the front and it was actually the rearend....Steven
