So, they tell me over at Wilwood that the FFR Wilwood brake system will need a 1" bore master cylinder to drive all the pistons correctly. They went on to say that the MC with a 1" bore will require a 6:1 ratio from the brake pedal to apply enough pressure to the MC. The stock mustang pedal is only a 3:1 ratio. I can move the lower pivot point on the pedal closer and get the ratio I need but my question finally is. Once I move the pivot point up 1.5" closer to the upper pivot point will is cause significant alignment problems for the Wilwood MC operation? Will the increased pushrod angle bind the MC piston?

Any thoughts

I can sell you a modified pedal that will fix this problem. Or you can modify it the way you want and just move it to the lower set of mounting holes. Only problem is now your pedal will be 1.5 inches. Loser to the floor

Thanks for the reply, is there any need to re-align the pushrod shaft after the mod or is the new angle okay as it is?

you will need to move the pedal to the lower hole after the mod. The angle will be too steep causing binding and potential failure of your master cylinder.
