The Forte's degas tank does 3 thing while looking good doing them!
1] removes air from the system allowing the cooling system to work correctly as it is mounted higher then the engine

2] gives a true recirculating action to the cooling system allowing the coolant to flow back into the radiator from the overflow tank

3] removes the FFR supplied fill neck from the upper hose & gives more coolant capacity

Mine looks and works great. Allows you to get rid of the metal ffr hose and use a standard rubber hose. Mike will let you know what hoses will work with your application.
