My wife and I were in VT last fall and came across a group of Factory Five cobra folks at a local eatery. What a great bunch of folks, all very excited about their cars. I was so impressed with the people, their cars and Factory Five, that I bought one myself. I am in CT and was wondering if there were others in the NE corner of the state that might like to chat on their project and to provide a sounding board as I go through my project. Looking forward to a fun build!

You could also plan to ride up with the CT Caravan to the FFR Open House. Check the other forum for the times and route. (Norheast region Forum)

Hi Doug. Good to hear from you. I did spend a good deal of time talking with you at this get together in VT last fall. I live in Bethlehem, CT not too far from Southington. You available any evening for a quick phone call? Thanks in advance.

Hey Jim. You have a great guy right in your back yard, Mike Z,(5.8COBRA). He has built many roadsters and currently has the bragging rights with respect to horse power.

We can all help you out whenever you like, just put up a post or send out an e-mail. You should also join the other forum (ffcars.com), it is typically where we all go first. Any and all help will be there. Also find us on the Northeast area forum. Also check out my blog under my avatar.

I'd love to come check out your build JMX or come see any other CT cars out there. I'm just getting my feet wet and would love to see, feel, etc some FFR Roadsters before I buy a kit.

The weekend of July 13 thru 15, there will be a whole bunch of us driving up to lake George. If you are up for a drive, head on up and you will get to see and talk to a very nice group of owners. Check out the first post on the northeast forum.

To everyone here! When you registered your FF cars in Connecticut, where you able to register them as 1965 Cobra, etc., and where you exempt from emission testing because of that? Or did you have go through emissions based on the year of your engine?

Thanks,

Jack

I found my own answer. You need to have all emissions equipment on the vehicle for the year of the engine but you don't have to go through testing.
