Over the last 6 months my toe setting has changed from -1/16" to +1/16". I car felt twitcher the last couple of days, but I thought maybe it was because I had not driven it in for a couple of months.

My ride height is still correct and I did not find any loose bolts. I reset the toe correctly tonight and the car feels back to normal.

Any ideas out there on what I should check next? Or does the setting just change a little over time and miles?

Thanks

It would seem that the ride height changed somewhat. Not really many other explainations unless the rack has worn?

You ride height probably changed which changed you toe. Springs do tend to settle some.

I'll have to go back and check the height again. It does seem to be the only variable that could have easily changed.

If the toe changed from a ride height change you may need to check the bump steer. Depending on how much the ride height changed.

I really think my ride height is spot on. While I was in there twiddling with alignment settings I noticed my camber was a little more negative on the drivers side so I fixed that and reset the toe. The car drives great just as it always has, just a little less twitchy today.

Thanks for all the input. This time I made a block for the ride height so I can check it easily and quickly to see if it does change this driving season.

I would have to agree with Gordon. The only two things that are likely to cause the change in toe are ride height change or camber/caster change (other than damage from impact-ie. bent parts). If the suspension hardware is properly torqued (and honestly I don't know what method you have for camber/caster adjustment-i'm guessing your upper control arms have adjustable links which are not likely to loosen and change settings. My old style FFR has camber/caster slots on the frame where the upper arm bolts on), then settling springs seems the most likely cause.
