View Full Version : Five-star max retires
I just wanted to let everyone know that Max (better known as Five-Star Max) has retired and is moving back to New York (somewhere up State.) His last day at work was Monday the 30th of April.
He has been a great personal friend and a big help to many here and on the other forum as well.
I wish him well in his retirement and I know that he has earned it.

Wow, NY of all places! I've talked to Max a bunch of times and he loved to give me the business about NY weather.

Wish Max all the best. Hope he has a new snow blower factored in to the cost of the move.

Yea, go figure, most people LEAVE NY when they retire. Good luck Max and thanks!

Thank you all for the wishes. I really did not want to retire but it was time. With the dealer changing hands and policys changing as well making it difficult to do things the "old" way, we decided to go BACK to Plattsburgh NY, after 14 years, to see the kids and 10 grandkids some of which we never met.
Mer I might be stopping by to see the plant one of these days for a tour??
So thanks again for the well wishes and I will be around from time to time...now we are in full packing mode for the move next Monday!

Good Luck with the move and new chapter Max. Thanks for everything, and treating each purchase (big or small) like it was important.
Take Care,
Geoff
