Here are the preview pics sent to me of my new headers. There 4 into 1 back into 4 .They let me add a o2 sensor and tube for the crankcase evac system also to improve scavanging. These are the first headers built using the mock up fixture. I'll post a few more pics after i receive them and return from my fishing trip to Lake Erie.

They should scavange better and lets me run an o2 sensor that sees each bank verse one cylinder and crankcase evac system.

I have had several emails and pm asking about the performance of the header design. Yesterday was dyno day for the motor with the cam change. The first cam I had ground was great top end but lacked a little in driveability. It was great at the strip but that's about all. The new cam I had ground gave up 60 hp at 6500 rpm but should greatly increased drivability . So we did a test with the stock FF hooker headers to the Stainless headers. First the fuel curve was optimized for the FF five headers with my side pipes installed then the hp numbers recorded. Then the stainless headers were installed the fuel curve was optimized and the hp number recorded. Here are the numbers and percent of change.
FF headers 1500 Rpm 121 HP Stainless Headers 1500 rpm 143 20%
2000 171 2000 202 18.2%
2500 226 2500 266.6 176 %
3000 287 3000 340 18.1%
3500 359 3500 414 15.3 %
4000 430 4000 495 15 %
4500 490 4500 548 12 %
5000 547 5000 601 10 %
5500 585 5500 639 9.3 %
6000 604 6000 652 8.8 %
6500 635 6500 683 7.7 %
After 6500 the power started falling off so we stopped recording at that RPM. While 7% is not a huge number look at the numbers under the curve.I say the headers were a great success both in fit and power increase.

There is also a ps to this.Do you have a roadster with a Coyote motor? In a phone conversation with Chris he let it be known that he would discount a set of headers to anyone who was willing to help them. This is a great chance for someone to get a great set of headers for a great price so call him. 701-356-9468
