Well, this is my 4th roadster, and hoping to keep this one! I orginally ordered the coupe, but NY told me had to weld in bumpers, so I was like nah! And I love the open feel of the roadster. INteresting trip with 3 boys in tow, 11 hrs in the car, yeah I am nuts!948294819480947994789477

Got a 98 donor lined up, so its my first 4.6L build. Power steering and brakes

Very cool, having the boys around for the build should be a blast!! Nice choice of tow vehicle as well, I picked up a used 08 Mounty last year and have to say I am more then pleased with it. (though a little better MPG wouldn't hurt.)

yeah, the trannys on these Fords are suseptable to leaks, the last tow I did cost me a tranny on it. Seems my boys want their own FFR. The little one wants Dave Smiths roadster (sorry Dave, turn over the keys), my man Conner wants the GTM and Cole wants either a roadster or hotrod. And thanks to Jason for the tour and patience with my boys, they hung up the posters and the little guy stole my keychain!

bil1024,
How lucky do you get? These little guys are living a dream that a lot of us are still anticipating, visiting the "mother ship". I bet they will never forget that! Great pics!

Any works of wisdom for current or future builders based on your experience building the roadster?? Thanks, WEK.
