Well I've done it. I was trying to remove the screw on the differential and it rounded off on me. Does anyone have any ideas as to how I might remove this screw?
Any ideas?

What screw? Fill plug, cover bolt?

If you are speaking of the filler plug, that might be pretty nasty. But in general, flatten bolt on opposite sides with 3 inch cutoff wheel (carefully). My first try would be with vice grips but if you have one of those variable sized boxed wrenches and you have the room to engage it, that works well as it gives you a very positive grip. WD40 like crazy and give it a go. Apply some heat if it still will not break loose. I just removed a very stuborn cam gear bolt that had rounded just enough to slip on every type of socket or wrench I tried.
Good luck, WEK.

It happened to me too.
I tried everything. Heat, ice, WD40, special vise grips, even dremmel'd the sides to make an edge.
In the end, what finally worked for me was a mig welder from a fellow builder. We welded an old bolt on top and used that to get 'er out. Here's a pic:

it is the bolt that keeps the rod holding the axles in place.

There are "easy outs" made for nuts and bolts, and come in a set like sockets (are made to be used like sockets). Choose one that fits, and drive it on with a hammer. Then use a ratchet to back the bolt out. Sell them a Sears and other tool places (maybe an auto parts place will carry them). Work pretty well.
