Me and the wife are going to the F5 open house this year..And SHE wants to know what ELSE there is to do besides going to F5..She wants to go to the beach but I don't have a clue on where to go and stay and sights to see.. I have to make this a good one so she wants to return for future visits..If you know what I mean..;)

I'd suggest staying at The Belfry Bed and Breakfast in Sandwich, Mass., or having dinner there as the restaurant is very good. It's not cheap lodging or dining, but you get what you pay for. There are some art galleries, coffee/pastry shops, etc. within walking distance, if you are into that sort of thing. It's about 15 minutes from FFR. All of Cape Cod, what little I saw of it in 2 days, was really cool. A trip up to Provincetown to check out the restaurants, art galleries, shops, etc. may also be worthwhile.

Outlet shopping is not too far away. That should keep her busy for most of a day.

Don't stay in Wareham. Get onto the Cape. The Bourne Bridge is not far from FFR and your there. Lots of shops, beaches, Inns, etc. all over the Cape. Really depends on how far you want to drive out. But as my Grandfather use to say it's impossible to get lost on the Cape :)

Along with the Cape, FFR is also really close to Plymouth. Downtown is pretty cool right on the water with a bunch of mom and pop stores, plenty of restaurants (I'm a fan of Sam Diego's), you can check out the Plymouth Rock and Mayflower 2. The Plimoth Plantation is also really close. Between Cape Cod and Plymouth, there's lots to do around here.

We really like Hyannis on the Cape; lot's of eclectic shops, good restaurants and charming B&Bs. About 20-25 miles/35-40 minutes from FFR.

depending on when you arrive for open house. There are several motels close to ffive in wareham. If your planing on being around for a few days your only a short distance to the bourne bridge (main highway) and the east shore. There are boat rides out of falmonth and yarmonth to the islands that's a day in itself. If you stay on route 6 that will bring you over the sagamore bridge on the bay side. The factory outlets were all closed last year. There's always the christmas tree shop at the end of the bridge. 6a goes up the middle of the cape and bypasses a lot of traffic with exits to all the cities or you can travel through city to city. Not sure how june would be but traffic up the east side is bumper to bumper and can be stressful. Either way you'll never see it all in one visit. Maybe we'll met at open house. Have fun and enjoy, your wife will not be disappointed. Jim
