I am "All Grain" brewing now and have settled in on a British Style Ale. I've made it about 6 time now. Some times I like to tweek it a bit for the season. I added roasted chestnuts to the last batch.

Just got into homebrewing. First try was a Bavarian Hefeweizen and it came out great. Today I'm making an ESB with a buddy.

Funny, I just came to the off topic forum on the off chance someone might be talking about brewing, and this thread is right on top.

I've been brewing about 18 years now, most of that all grain. I just kegged a single-malt, single hop IPA, and I have an American Brown Ale in fermenters now. I also have some ESB (getting low), a Vienna lager, and an experimental beer with black pepper and orange marmalade on draft.

Scottish Export 80 in the fermentor for 2 weeks now. This is the 4th extract batch I've brewed. I'm pretty happy with the results so far. I'm bottling using 22oz bottles.

It's all ZULU'S fault, but I've recently been bitten by the homebrew bug too.

Please post the All Grain recipe for your British Style Ale. It must really be good if you've made it six times now. I have three different brews fermenting right now and I just kegged one, so I have room to start another one ASAP.

Currently aging / fermenting:

Bee Cave Robust Porter (Google for the recipe - It's suppose to be REALLY good!)

Market Street Brewery Vanilla Creme Ale Clone

New England Brewing Co. Atlantic Amber Clone

Jeff:

Sounds like a great idea. I'll need to brew a couple more batches. Don't tell Steve, I hear those BB Guys drink too much.

there is a small brewry across the river here, and they have 3 styles but they make up several beers from that by doing a mix between them, never saw that before. of course i tried all of them.

as soon as my neighbor and i get done with our car builds we have talked about doing some brewing.
