Howdy folks, new to this forum. I am building a MK3 for some friends and need some advice on the radiator hoses. The radiator is kind of wide and I need some input on what hoses to use. This particular Roadster was started by 2 different owners and came to me in pieces sort of. Picturs would help immensly. Thanks for your time.

Take a look at the cooling system parts at breezeautomotive.com

If you post some pics of what you have, someone should be able to help too

Welcome to the forum!! Since you will probably have lots of questions, get comfortable w/ a low end digi camera and Photobucket. Once used to it you can take a pic and have it in a post in 5 minutes and it is very helpful for us to give more exact answers.

I used the AFCO radiator that FFR offers as an option, as well as a few Breeze Automotive components (upper mount, lower mount, and lower radiator hose), as well as a modified "degas" tank from an early '60s Ford big block for that classic look. Here are a few pictures of the various components:

Upper hose (inlet) to radiator taken from the top of the passenger side front tire:

Lower hose (outlet) from radiator taken from in front of the driver's side front tire:

Full view of lower radiator hose - note that I modified the front elbow from Breeze and made my own elbow at the water pump using an aftermarket hose from NAPA:

Degas tank and upper hose - upper hose is a combination of butchered NAPA aftermarket hoses and a length of 1 1/2" aluminum tubing:
