I've been collecting unused quick-jacks for a little over a year now and some of you that have sent me them are probably thinking that I'm just a bit "nuts." Well, I finally had enough of them to send to the powder-coater and they were done today.

I'm going to use a few of them as coat/hat hooks, a set to hang/display my Roadsters steering wheel (which ever one is not being used) and will be making a rod to hang my shop jacket/shirt etc. from.

Anyway, I got just a moment and mounted a set in our temporary garage...

Makes a nice spot to keep rolls of tape. Just used an 8-inch long 1/2-inch galvanized nipple and couple of caps. Also in the shop bathroom, shop towels....

I'd show you my tape holder but it's so far below that standard I'd be embarrased.

Up until today, I was using a toilet paper holder...

Old scrap plywood pieces rough cut to no particular shape and surely not matching side to side. A notch cut in it with the bandsaw and a piece of dowel to rest in the notch. Screwed them to the joists holding the roof of my boat shop up. (car stuff is downstairs in the barn, boat stuff is in the shop usptairs)
