Auto Fair This Week

The autofair is this week. We are looking forward to seeing you all. It looks like we will have all models except a GTM represented at this time.
Dave Smith, Scott and the FFR big rig will be joining us. Also Bob Stuke will be there doing some autocrossing in his FFR. We have the car show all weekend Saturday is full Sunday there are still spots if you are interested. Trophies will not be given out until Sunday, if you are only showing Saturday we will get them to you later.
After the show Saturday everyone is invited to the Quaker Steak and Lube for a Cruise in like we had after the Muscle Car taping in October. I would suggest leaving the speedway from the back side heading north on 29 and turning left on Pitts School Road then left on Weddington and coming in the back side and staying off of Bruton Smith Blvd to minimize traffic delays. If any locals know any better routes please share.
We will leave from Hooters promptly at 7:30 AM Saturday morning, please be on time again traffic is tough, we will have Sat and Sunday passes at this time.

We will be in Manufacturers Midway we are between the cup garage and the pit row gate. I f you walk down pit row from either direction and take the gate to the garage we are there. Near the Sunoco gas pumps.

You should have been there this morning with your "rain filter".
Rained all the way up from Greenville area. Stayed through 10AM this morning and then drove south again in about an hour of heavy rain.
Home now, the sun is shining and MARIAH is drying out.

Had a great time on Saturday and am so sorry to hear that the weather wasn't Roadster/FactoryFive/jeff friendly today.
Thanks again to every one for making it a fun event with friends that have the same interest and are so open minded to welcome anyone in the group.

Hope all of you made it home save and sound and mostly dry. :)

Now, who won the big trophies?

There were so many nice F5 cars. Everyone is a winner in my book.

Thanks to everyone who makes this event a success. It is always great to see everyone and catch up. Thanks to FFR and Scott for bringing down the big rig and the door prizes. I think Brian and Brock Dehler got the sweet gift certificate. Thanks to Tim Mundy and Cindy Clemmer for for hanging out all weekend and helping to man the booth. Thanks to everyone who brought their cars out. We really enjoy seeing everyone and hearing what you have been up to. The car show voting was
3rd place Dan Church 33 HR, 2nd Nelson McCrea Roadster, 1st Phillip Deal Roadster, Best of Show Ken Eppley Roadster, and the Whitby Motorcars Spirit Award to Jim Hunt. If you didn't pick your trophy up at the show we have them at the shop and will get them to you. They are a new design this year a piston. I'll try to get some pictures up for everyone to see.
Thanks again to everyone for all of your help, it takes a lot to put this show together but you all make it more than worth it. We are humbled and thankful for all this community does. We also have some Mid Atlantic FFROG money for Team Jenny we will drop in the mail thanks to you all. We had 26 cars for Saturday ,and 4 made it back in the rain Sunday.
