Sunroof ?????

OK before evrybody jumps on me, was just thinking with the coupe being a hot inside as is has anybody put a sunroof in on ? and would that not help with the heat. I just starting bodywork now and my wife asked me and I could not think of a reson way not .

I like that idea.
It would have to be seriously opage, otherwise sunlight would cause even more heat buildup.

was looking on E-Bay you can get them in every size , shade of glass , and with sun shades to block out the sun. the one I looked at were the universal one you can just open or remove. cannot think of a reson it would not work, I mesured the opening in the roll cage 25x42 lots of room for something.

It's also going to lower the interior height which would present a headroom challenge for most.

Dan was not looking at a elec on or something that thick looked at one was 7/8 total thickness so pproblely only 1/2" taken from the hesd room, was just a idea if somebody else did it and had a pic to see what it looked like like riptide said I am planing a paint that it would not stand out so much , not like I paint it white and put a black sunroof on it. was just a idea.

Yea, headroom might be an issue.

The roof of the coupe is not flat. It has a radius front to rear and side to side. Most after market universal fit sun roofs are flat. I think this would create a flat area on the top and distract from the overall appearance of the coupe. If you are looking for ventilation how about some type of rear facing scoop in the center rear of the roof just in front of the rear hatch? I have seen other cars with just such a vent scoop. This may allow air entering through foot well vents to exit out the rear.

Doesn't the coupe roof have a pretty good arch to it? How's the flat sunroof going to look? I'm with the previous poster, definitively A/C!

Orrrr, copy Pete Brock s design . Vents just behind the windshield to suck the air out.
