What's your car's name?

I used to name all my racing boats; White Lightnin', Blu by u, Going going Gone but I never have named my car until now. So mine is "Bad Asp" which I doubt is original but I took it anyway. And even though my garage only has one hot rod under it's belt, I'm calling it "Bad Asp Hot Rod Shop". What's yours called? :cool::cool::cool:

Mine is called "Emma" after my grandmother. She was all of 5' tall and raised 5 hell raising boys but didn't take an ounce of crap from any of them. NOBODY talked back to her and she both earned and demanded respect. When she was finished with her boys (including my dad) she set about teaching my mom and my aunts how to keep me, my two brother and her hoard of other grandkids in shape. Anyone who ever met her would agree that the roar of the Roadster is a fitting tribute.

I got the idea from someone else, but I used the middle name of the young man that helped me build it. My son's middle name is Alan, and that's what we call the Coupe.

I used to have a ball python that my then girlfriend (now wife) called Snakely Snakerson. The python left before we got married, but i decided i'm going to name the roadster the same. It makes me chuckle.

You know how sometimes you see a vanity plate and can't quite get it. Well the only name I have had trouble figuring out so far is "Hisssy". It might be a snake sound which makes sense but I remember my grandmother saying, "the boy is having a hissy fit" when I would act up. But I didn't understand the origin of hissy fit, either. Maybe someone will clarify. So is it a snake sound?

My MKII FFR is named Mona. She parks nose to tail in my garage with my Z3 Coupe. amd there are only inches to spare. So I end up hand-pushing both cars into position each time. Mona's brake pads have a habit of dragging a bit on the rotors, and so she moans when I nudge her across the floor.

So back in the 70's I went for a ride in a hydroplane that had to much horsepower. I was sure I had seen my last sunrise. Fast forward. The color is Plum and the driver is Loco. (the plate is as close as I could get it) The second car is a Fiat Dino. Her name is "Sofia" nothing like an Italian movie star with nice curves, just like the car. The car is a little tempermental, but so is Sofia.
