Here's on for the Coyote guys (or anyone else that knows more than me....wait that's most everyone). In the control pack instructions for the Coyote motor it says the the fuel regulator reference port needs to be hooked up to to vacuum on the engine. Which port on the engine did you guys use?

I have been running it without being attached to vacuum for about 60 miles and I have noticed and issue and I wonder if it is due to the lack of vacuum. The car accelerates well through 1st, 2nd and 3rd. As I get onto the highway and accelerate from 50 to parts unknown the car feels like my Dodge Omni when I was 17. It's very slow to pick up speed. It will eventually get to 80 but it takes some time.

Could this be a lack of vacuum on the regulator? My fuel pressure is 50lbs to the rail under load. Any other thoughts would be much appreciated.

Thanks.

Rob

Two things from the controls pack instructions:

-Set regulator to maintain 55 psi delta fuel pressure across injector (55 psi at fuel rail with engine off)
-Fuel pressure regulator must have reference to manifold vacuum.

Try both of those. Factory Five uses the rearward port I think. but running a hose from the throttle body vacuum is a lot easier.

The techie at Ford racing said to use the port at the throttle body. Plug the rear port and the spare TB port. That's what I did and I do not have your issue.

Thanks guys for your input. After the Easter Eggs are out of my system I'm going to give it a go!
