Prep for IRS Center Section installation

I have a brand new aluminum Ford IRS center section that I hope to install this weekend after a few other things on the front.

Should I paint it (Black or Clear), or just leave it bare AL?

I am going to paint my rear knuckles black, since you might be able to see them, but the center section?
Maybe as I run over someone that doesn't think it's real... :rolleyes:

Thoughts?

Leaving it in its natural condition is better for cooling, as any coating you apply inhibits cooling.
