Latest score - I just bought a small on-board grease gun like what was included with the original street cars. Apparently, there were two styles of original guns that came with the AC chassis, but I just looked for one that I liked that was close. Mine looks similar to the one in the photo below (the photo is of an original 427), but has sort of a crimped end where the tube for the fitting exits the body. I think the originals were part no. GB2800, but I went with a GB2801 as it was very cheap. I've heard that many of the British sports cars from the '50s and '60s had these, so they seem pretty plentiful on Ebay - at least Ebay UK where I found mine for just under $40 shipped.

Just do an Ebay search (especially Ebay UK) on the word "Tecalemit" - the manufacturer name. Since these were on so many cars originally, the English countryside appears to be thick with them. Lots of talk on their websites of being all over the place at "auto jumbles" (i.e., swap meets).

Now that right there is funny, I don't care who you are.

Certainly something that protected the English during the dark days of WWII, but not something that you'd readily find for sale in that country nowadays.
