So what's the scoop on Registration in NH?

I was lead to believe our title and registration process was simple...... (from an FFR owner but that was more than a few years ago).......:(

I have my kit now and plugging away. It may be a couple of years until I am ready to register my Roadster but I need to be deciding on a direction for an engine and what that impact is on registration. I tried searching the registration process on the NH DMV site but it is kind of vague I've heard the process has changed this past year and gotten stricter so looking for more recent experiences. Do we register our FFR as a "constructed vehicle" and is emissions testing required based on the year of the engine? If I understand correctly if I go with a new Ford crate motor I would need OBD II and cats? Would I need and older motor to prevent emisson requirements and if so how old?

Any one been through the process recently? Any insight would be appreciated.:confused:
