Looking for a kit friendly inspector in the central interior of British Columbia, CANADA. Also if anyone knows what else may be required like;

- all four side marker lights (plus reflectors?)
- day time running lights (on all the time)
- anything else requied that may not come with the GTM II kit?
- I have also swapped out my speedo to read in KM/HR.

thanks in advance for any help, Mike :)

hey mike, you need the side markers but just buy stick on side markers and remove them after inspection and in my case i didnt even have them on the car becasue we didnt know how high they had to be on the car haha. You do need daytime running lights on steady. You need a 3rd brake light also. On the inspection sheet i noticed he marked that i had visors but i did not. Buy some clamp on visors maybe just to be safe. I did not have to switch from mph to kmph. On the sheet it did not say anyting about abs brakes. just as long as it had brakes. Since our kits are 2010 i did not need aircare also. cheers and good luck!

Hey Mike,

I was at Autoplan broker and asked about what it would take. She told me that I would need the following:

Bill of Sale (in this case I would suspect the Certificate of Ownership that FFr sends)
All receipts for donor car, after market parts, etc...
Invoices for major components (see the above receipts ;) )
Passing a BC inspection
Weight Scale certificate
BC assigned VIN. (There is a form that you can fill out for ICBC. The kind lady at the insurance office said that ICBC can send out the VIN plate to the place where you get the inspection and if it passes they attatch it.)
And, of course, our favorite scam artists, AirCare (if you live in the lower mainland)

This is for Kelowna so things may be different where you live.

Hope this helps.

Thanks P. I sent you a private message (PM). I hope all goes smooth at ICBC and the inspection shop. Mike
