The SN95 spindles are better and have more brake options. You can add the bump steer kit to help things out if you find you have bump steer after your car is on the road.

MG, if your going to a pick a part, you will want to look for SN95 Spindles from a 94/95 Mustang. They have the same track width as the Fox Body spindles where the 96-04 ones are a little wider.

I believe the ones Factory Five has available on their parts catalog are new castings of the 94/95 as well so you could just go that route, or if you have a MKIV you can also use the FFR two piece spindle and take advantage of the better SAI mounting poisition on the frame.

Scott yes the spindles are from a 95 Mustang, they have the dog leg in them. I was getting different answers on which where better the fox or sn95. My donor is a 87 fox. This is going on a mk lV kit I heard the mklV fixed some of the bump steer .

The new Factory Five Racing spindles fixed alot of the bump steer. They are our own design. They come standard with the complete kit or you can order them separate with a base kit. The order of spindle awesomeness goes Fox = most basic, SN95 = better, FFR spindles = Best! The FFR spindles are designed to accept brakes for SN95 spindles. The SN95 models have alot more brake options than the Fox and they come standard as a 5-lug.

Brian, do the FFR supplied spindle have provisions for ABS sensors?

Not from the factory. You would have to make a bracket to hold the sensor.

Brian, thanks as always for cleaning up my thoughts. Do you offer two spindles now in the parts catalog, or just the two piece design used on the MKIV and 33?

Scott,

The new two piece spindles for the Mk4 and Hot rod are not on the parts catalog yet. They require a different upper control arm mounting point that is welded standard on the new Mk4 frames. An older Mk2 model would require the bracket to be welded to the frame. You can order the parts from FFR if you call. They may be on the parts catalog soon.

Are you racing on Forza tonight? :)
