What is the softest spring that can be put in a Roadster (front and rear) with coil-over suspension, running 17" wheels, with a 4 1/2" ride height? Car is a MKII with the Pro shocks and full tubular A-arms. Small block (5.0) w/ T5 and 8.8 with 3-link in the rear.
Inquiring minds want to know . . .

Doc, I'm running 425# in the front and 250# in the rear and could have gone a bit softer. I'll bet a guy could get away with 400# in the front and 200# in the rear. I am running 18" wheel compared to your 17's but the 17's don't offer much more sidewall to act as a cushion. If you want to limit body roll you are going to need a front swaybar. I added a 3/4" Miata bar to mine and have my rear 5-link set neutral. I have found that is the sweet spot for mine. Good luck with yours.
