Has anyone used or otherwise have experience with the T5 that Modern Driveline sells, seems to have the S-10 tailpiece. The shifter is about 8" forward of the stock Tremec T5/z. They also have a nice clutch slave cylinder kit.

3rd and 4th Transmission in their listings.

If you have this one i'd like to know your satisfaction level.

Any others with T5 Midshifts are welcome to comment as well.

Gordon Levy has his Super Alloy T5. It can be had with the midshift mod as you refer to. I think he would be the one I would talk to if I was you. He is a forum vendor here and quite a few of our local members have his setup and love it. PM David Hodgkins, he has one in his car.

I converted my T5 to use the S10 tailshaft and selectors. Converted to the S10 electronic speed sensor and chnaged to Speedhut gauges. I have a Viper shifter that offsets the stick to the left. It is a serious improvement over the original set up as far as my driving style goes. Smooth and quick shifting.
