Joe
great way to put it.
A picture is worth a thousand words.
It looks like a great turnout.

Thanks. I'm back home now and it was a great event, but it would have been great to have some of the Factory Five guys down and have FFR as one of the sponsors. The Spring Meet raises funds for Operation Comfort which is a great cause. http://www.operationcomfort.org/
I had many people ask me about my Factory Five Roadster and then also comment that they wished FFR was at the event.

I guess I can understand FFR's view of this, they simply can't be at every show. I do however, see it from your side as well Joe, such a big event the exposure would be great for them. Looks like they have decided that for now they are going to concentrate on TV advertising. Looks like you guys had one hell of a show there. Way to Go!

Texas is a region we have not been to for a long time. I think we can put this on the 2013 agenda since we are overdue down there. Any other ideas I am happy to listen to (shows and events we should look at), but we are pretty small and those long road trips are tough. I have a meeting with the crew shortly on shows and events and I'll add it to the list. Looks like a GREAT time!

That looks like a ton of fun Joe! Wish they had something like that in our part of the woods.
BTW, what is with the hood hinge on that car next to you? It looks like an exterior trunk hinge used on the front hood.
It's a Street Beasts Cobra (Now out of business).. Previously featured in Kit Car Magazine a few years ago.

It's a Street Beasts ...
'Nuff said.
Jeff
The company and it's kits were clearly not the best, but the builder did a great job with what he had to work with. It's a very finished and sorted car.
I haven't made it to the Texas Cobra Meet since they moved it from Austin to San Marcos, but maybe next year.
Don't forget about the fall meet! The Houston Cobra Club started a fall meet about 5-6 years ago, but it is growing to the size of the Spring meet, and this year it will be in Boerne, which is outside of San Antonio.

Rob, do you have a link or web address to additional information about the Fall Meet? I was a few miles away from Boerne this weekend when I was in Comfort, TX. Boerne is much closer to some really good Texas Hill Country driving roads. I might be interested in attending if the schedule works out.

Dave, the Texas Cobra Club Planning Committee members asked me to find out if you guys are going to come down and participate in the fun this year? April 3rd-7th, San Marcos, Texas. I'll follow up with a phone call this week.

I'm thinking that I've made it up there once on a motorcycle and once in the Roadster, so it's your turn!!

Hope to have my car finished by then. I'm about 2 hours away near Corpus Christi. My business partner is from San Marcos.
SStrong, I hope you get to make it. Even if you don't have your car ready I'm sure you will have a blast. Come on up!
