We received an e-mail yesterday from Pete Brock with a link to some websites where it looks like the boys at ****** American released a fake photo of a Mustang doing a wheelie. The photo was immediately recognizable by any car guy as a fake. Click here (http://jalopnik.com/5897048/the-******-1000-press-photos-are-fake) for the full story.

Man, whomever did that SHOULD BE FIRED!
Look at the front wheel placement in the fender wells. They are at ride height location. In other words, how is the car doing a wheelstand and the front tires haven't dropped AT ALL from their location when the car is on all fours standing still?
Then again, we all know that ****** is all about "show" and virtually no "go" these days.
Oh, and $200,000 for a Mustang? Really?
He's a legend in his own mind.

Mad Dog-
Not only did Greg do a nice hop as you deftly demonstrate, but last week's episode of PowerBlock showed Dave getting some air with the MK IV he was racing against the "original."
This is pretty pathetic, and their response even more pathetic. Thanks for forwarding the news. Just curious though... Is ****** going to sue himself for copying an "original" photograph?
It's great to know that you all just keep doing it the right way! Keep it real!!
Regards,
Steve
