Cobra Earl's vent kit

I am getting ready to install the vent kit from Cobra Earl. It's a neat kit. Does anyone have build pics of his kit in their MKIV. Most of his pics on the CD are I,II or III's. What's the best way to cut the vent door cables without damaging them. They much longer than need be. Thanks all Nick C.
