Here's the output from another good tool for determining tire size and gear ratios. It's an excel spreadsheet so if anyone would like it, just PM me and I'll email it to you.

For those of you with iPads there is a neat little app in the store called GearRatioPro. 1. You enter the tire size, it calculates the rolling radius; 2. Enter the transmission gear ratios (up to a 6 speed), final drive ratio; and, 3. Enter the max shift RPM. It then produces a shift points in RPM and speed. You can also view the output graphically. It's is handy if you want to do some what if calculations quicklyithout having a spreadsheet open.

Hey 33Machine,
I did an online request for assistance. I got a call from Barry yesterday evening. I told him the profile of my project (roadster) and he went over the suspension differences with my car and rims, Cobra Rs. BTW, when I mentioned I would be doing some autocross and/or track days, he said he had 30 years of racing experience. I believe him. He was very knowledgeable of the FFR cars. Also, he was willing to talk tire compounds street vs. track and related sujects such as my front end setup with power steering (camber/castor). Anyway, he gave me some suggestions to start with and a follow up email with more info. The calculator is pretty cool too. Thanks for the heads up, WEK.

Has anyone fitted a set of wheels under full gaurds, I am running the 12..88" Willwoods on the front and have read some 17" rims will not clear the calipers. Therefore Im looking at 18X8" and 19X10", not sure on backspace dimensions to achieve a neat fit under the guards, any suggestions ?
