Can someone recommend a source for material to cover the dash. Decided not to use the padded material that was supplied in the MkIV kit. Either vinyl or leather is fine................just want something that has that fine, pebble-like grain that is somewhat close to the type used in the 60's English cars.

You'll find lots of choices at fabric stores such as JoAnn's.

I owned a few Sunbeams (Alpine, Tiger) in the 60's and loved the wooden dashes that they had, some were burledoak or something. A source for that stuff can be found at sites like this one.

I am toying with the idea of a plywood dash with veneer and epoxy coating.
