After watching the FFR on Muscle Car, my wife noticed the drool factor that the Wilwood brakes induced. I have been doing a LOT of renovations on the house lately and saving us a lot of money. My wife said as a reward, I should order the brakes. No charge to my FFR budget.;)

A few questions:

Are they worth the $$$$? They are not exactly cheap.

Are the FFR ones the way to go? What is the differance between the FFR kit, Levy, or just ordering from Summit?

I was planning on Mustang brakes with hydroboost. I drove a manual stock brake MKII and the pedal force was way more than I like. What about hydroboost with the Wilwoods?

Does the FFR kit come with caliper adapters for the rear, or am I still in for those with a fox rear?

Slotted only or drilled and slotted? Mostly a driver, with a few autocrosses and a very occaisional track day.

I have a base kit. I was planning on a 5.0 S/N 95 donor. Going this way, I will probably go with a Fox and get the FFR spindles.

To answer your questions;
Yes they are worth it
My kit's are 40% larger in pad area on the fronts and I use 4 piston rears while FFR uses a single piston rear. My kit's also include upgrade brake pads with all the lines and adapters.
I don't recommend power asist with the Wilwood brake kits. With a properly matched master cylinder and brake pedal mods the car will stop quite well. I've really never seen a boosted brake system with these brakes that weren't over boosted. That is to say they were just an on/off switch and very hard to modulate or control.
If you do any track work at all I don't recommend crossdrilled, plain or slotted would be fine.
Use the SN95 donor spindle and you will have a bolt on with one of my brake kits.
