After watching the FFR on Muscle Car, my wife noticed the drool factor that the Wilwood brakes induced. I have been doing a LOT of renovations on the house lately and saving us a lot of money. My wife said as a reward, I should order the brakes. No charge to my FFR budget.;)
A few questions:
Are they worth the $$$$? They are not exactly cheap.
Are the FFR ones the way to go? What is the differance between the FFR kit, Levy, or just ordering from Summit?
I was planning on Mustang brakes with hydroboost. I drove a manual stock brake MKII and the pedal force was way more than I like. What about hydroboost with the Wilwoods?
Does the FFR kit come with caliper adapters for the rear, or am I still in for those with a fox rear?
Slotted only or drilled and slotted? Mostly a driver, with a few autocrosses and a very occaisional track day.
I have a base kit. I was planning on a 5.0 S/N 95 donor. Going this way, I will probably go with a Fox and get the FFR spindles.
