Put down some money on a MK4 with 3 link and A arms and the 17 x 10.5/9" halibrand replicas.
Picked up a 95 cobra vert with AFR heads and a vortech SQ blower and a bunch of other minor modifications for $4700. Shortblock is tired, but I plan on going with a 351w stroker anyway.
Plan is to enjoy the cobra this summer, pull it apart this fall and pick up the MK14 in October/November.
Thinking I can make back the majority of the purchase price on the cobra in parts I don't intend to use. Body is clean, so maybe someone will want it as a project car.
