I met this customer at SEMA last November, picked his car up a week later. With the emmisions deadline in Mass he wanted to be sure it made it before April 30th.

Exquisite car. The exterior color scheme is virtually identical to mine. I used a rebuilt donor engine in my MKII, but except for the double roll bars, the painted dash and the orientation of the quick jacks, everything's the same. Heck, we even have the same air dam! Congratulations on having built a very nice car, and here's hoping our paths cross sometimes. Problem is, if they do, I'll have to work hard to remember which one is mine! Oh yeah, the Street Performer seats will give mine away. Happy motoring.

Great job! Looks like a really clean install. Love the new 5.0... Wish I could have used it. Will have to make do with the 01 Cobra donor.

very nice, would it have been possible to set the motor back further? looks like you have a bit of room near the firewall. trying to find room for a turbo or two...

Not really. The rear passenger side head is almost against the footbox. The bellhousing is also very close the the angular supports in the rear of the engine bay. If you overcome those two constraints, then you need to consider custom headers and new shifter options.
There are a handful off 4.6L DOHC turbo cars around so it is possible to wedge a turbo or two in with a modular motor.

Not possibel in my world, but I have seen some wild stuff on the forums.

It will be once Factory Five starts selling the headers w/ cats. The were shooting for late February, but no update with any new timeline.

Not necessarily true in Mass. Until we know the rules noone can assume this will be compliant.

Why wouldn't it be compliant with cats? Be the same as a 2011 Mustang, right?

It would not be the same as the Mustang due to not having the complete evaporative control system. Cats alone don't make it compliant.

Wow she is a beauty. I wonderin, what is the weight diff between the coyote engine and say your standered doner? I love the way the coyote looks. how clean and just how it looks as though it was ment to be there.
