I don't venture on this board as much as I should and this is for the people who don't venture to the old board any more.
Welp the GTM moved under it's own power today! HUGE step in finishing the car.....
I want to send out a huge thank you to Crash! He helped me figure out the axel situation and we got it right the first time!!!!
BTW this build is with a Ricardo gear box. Twin turbo parts were ordered yesterday. Twin 67's will spool very quickly andstill allow me to make over 1000RWHP without pushing the turbos hard. Enjoy the videos..

Great work, Linxs! I've just finally go-karted mine also, and it's an awesome feeling to have gotten to that point. Only I have about 1/3 of the horsepower you have......!
How was it fitting that Ricardo gearbox in? I'm curious to see some more detail.

As I posted on the "other" forum, this is a pretty serious build. I have some other drivetrains out there that can handle more HPand TQ, but this is THE highest HP capable 930 CV based axle setup I have ever sold. Linxs has some pretty sweet stuff in this build, not just driveline, but I will leave it to him as to whether he wants to elaborate or not. I can't wait for him to be finished and really turn it up! JCH Racer also has the Ricardo installed and will be running a healthy boosted V8, so there are some really exotic builds coming online here in short order, and I am almost giddy with excitement as to how they are coming out. REALLY great stuff! :)

Well, I have to say it was a little lame, since I had no seat yet. I figured I'd be careful. Here it is in static form....

Well i can rattle of some stuff off the top of my head.
I just purcahsed new shocks and the front sway bar setup from Ted. I have been driving the gocart a little and WOW i hate the stock shocks. The motor is an LS2 stroked to 383, 9.5.1 comp. 245 trickflow heads, carb style lower intake, sheet metal upper intake, 102MM throttle body, Bottom end is fully forged. 95# injectors....
The tranny is a stock ricardo. The sides of the frame needed to be trimmed. I'll weld in some more supports once i get to to my buddies shop in May (when the turbo build starts). The ricardo fits however, it touches the X part of the frame that is over the tranny and it touches the most rear part of the lover frame. It actually fits so securely i'm debating on if i need to cut the lower frame. I'm on the fence. I might not make the decision until after we see how the car reacts to the turbo kit. We'll see.
The car will be monitored with an onboard computer (solid state) which will monitor the tune, handle music, internet, tracking, bla bla bla.... i have a 7inch touch screen for the computer so it'll look just like a double din radio.
The car will be getting a 5 piont harness for both driver and passenger.

I haven't forgotten about your pictures! i'm out of town and i have an Oracle go live in 2 weeks! so things are kind of crazy right now.
I really appreciate all the extra time you've spent on the phone and emails in helping me identify the right set up for my current goals.

lol, not finished yet. If you try to copy this build don't expect to do it with less than 6 figures....

Ouchies.
Yeah I'm allocating like 25k max for the 818 when it comes out. Still it never hurts to dream. Man to get the same power to weight I would have to get 750 hp 0.o.
This thing will scream.

Hey Linxs, really sweet build.
This thing is really going to be over the top. You are really going to utilize the upgraded shocks/sway bar kit. Thank you for the order.
Really interested in the onboard computer & to see all its capabilities.
Keep up the good work.

I can't even imagine the acceleration of 1K HP in such a light frame. I'd imagine there is a traction control system install in your plans?
Can't wait to see this car when it's done!
