This was a flat dash panel from Casey Design's when it left his shop .This bent piece is courtesy of UPS .Its .100 thick aluminum how did they manage to bend it that bad .The photo's don't show that its bent to a 45 degree angle. When I called all they could say was someone would contact me in 5 to ten business days .The girl never said sorry and blamed everyone but UPS for the damage.I also want to say thanks to Casey for he's cutting me a new one tonight to replace the damaged one.

Bummer. What kind of container was it shipped in?

:)

Not for anything, but if I was shipping it I would have slapped a label right on the aluminum. That way there's no box to get crushed. Works with tires, so it should work with a slab of aluminum.

It was wrapped in two layers of bubble wrap then put in a padded shipping envelope.

Be prepared for when UPS tells you it wasn't packaged properly. Don't accept that as their final answer, just their first one. Don't give up or go away.
