Join the Factory Five Community as a Supporting Vendor
The Factory Five Forum exists to serve the community. Vendors who provide valuable products and services are an integral part of this community. Our policy is to provide affordable access to Factory Five customers with reasonably priced advertising rates and qualified references.
At this time, we have three advertising packages.
Bronze Supporting Vendor - $9.99 per month
This support level includes your company listing and banner with link on our Supporting Vendor page and enables you to link customers to your website directly from your signature line on all posts. Static banners only.
Silver Supporting Vendor - $29.99 per months
This support level gives your company everything from the bronze level PLUS a rotating global banner at the footer of every single forum page.

For an extra $10, make your banner with a Flash animation.
Gold Supporting Vendor - $99.99 per month
The gold package includes everything from the silver package, but replaces the medium size banner with a full size, large page banner (800 px x 100 px), below the main nav bar. Banners can be static or Flash.

If you would like to advertise, please e-mail me directly at dave.lindsey@factoryfive.com. This program is developing and we may make small changes as we go. Any advertisers will be protected with a money back guarantee. We are planning on having the Supporting Vendors page up and running in the next week or two.

We should banners and advertising started officially March 1st, but I am working on getting banners up this week. Please keep in mind that this site is going to change and evolve tremendously over the next year or two. One example of this is the silver banner location, for now, has been changed to the footer of every page since the header location was crowded and didn't look right. As we evolve, the priority will always be to help those who support the community and you guys as advertisers are central to the community.
Another question is ads that use Flash. At this time, the price is the same, but it's probably something that we might add a small charge to, like $5 or $10 per month to keep it fair.
Any questions, feel free to contact me.

Hi guys,
We're changing the size of the banner for the Silver package from 275x65 to 468x60 (same size as FFCars.) Also, if you wish to have a Flash banner, that will be an extra $10 per month. So for a static banner, the price is $29.99 and for a Flash banner, it is $39.99.

Hi Mad dog
When you refer to a "flash" banner, do you mean an animated/rotating banner, or the file format. All that because you could create a rotating banner using Gif format.

Good question. Someone should have ask this before. Why didn't I think of it?

Hi Art - We don't have a yearly charge providing savings at the moment, but I'll present that at the next mod meeting to see what everyone thinks.
VeniceCobra - Yes, by Flash I do mean an animated banner.

We need a pull down at the top of the supporting vendors like on ffcars. I know when I need parts, that's a quick way to check it out and see if I can help one of our own. Just a thought...

I know that the target date is the 1st so I'm not surprised that it's not there. It's just that I haven't received an acknowledgment or an invoice for the banner I sent to MadDog. I don't want to be left behind.
Thanks for your hard work David. I hope to see you again at the HB event.

Doug,
I got your banner and all banners (including your's) that have been received are listed for when we get the sponsors page posted. Will double check tomorrow with Dave Smith and accounting to see how payments statements will be sent out and post the info. I'm sure we're going to keep it simple and straight forward. Keep checking this post for the latest updates regarding that.

Cool, sign me up for a Bronze.
Thanks for pointing me here, but a link at the top of the page for "advertisers" that includes not only current advertisers, but how to become one, would make a lot of sense to me. ;)
Thanks,
