What is the best/easiest way to strip powdercoating ? My valve covers turned out good, but not good enough. :p I am still on the fence about gloss red (as in the profile pic) or red wrinkle.

you could try chemical paint remover but you may have to resort to sandblasting.

C4, Dynamite, A-Bombs, etc ...
On a serious note, I've heard good results about using Permatex's Gasket Remover (its in a spray can) to lift cured powdercoat.

According to the guy who powder coated my Frame, panels and other stuff it can be done with aircraft paint remover but he usually has to soda blast or sand blast after to make sure its all off and ready to be re coated. He had problems with my valve covers some other small parts.

Depending on the base material, I use heat. On a steel based item, I just grab a propane torch, and heat till the coating starts to blister. Once that happens its easy to remove the coating. On aluminum, you could try a very small area, but watch the temp closely.
