I already purchased a set of Probe 5.400 lightweight I-beam rods. The remaining parts are as follws:

Probe domed pistons (4.030, 1.175 CH, .912 pin, 9cc dome)
Probe lightweight tool steel wrist pins
SCAT lightweight forged steel crank (3.250 stroke, external bal)
Trick Flow fully CNC'd heads (205cc intake, 65cc chambers, 7/16 studs). I plan to have the exhaust ports tweaked to improve flow. The intake side is already very good. They will be port matched to the exhaust and intake gaskets
Trick Flow stage 3 cam (.574/.595 lift, 298/325 deg adv dur, 92 deg overlap)
Blue Thunder dual quad hi-rise intake manifold port matched to heads
Dual Holley 450 CFM 4-bbl carbs

Compression is calculated to be 11.2 with a 4.030 gasket .051 thick

Have you thought about an efi stack system that looks like Webers. Do you know how the newer products perform?

With that CR can you still run pump gas and will there be any problems on hot days or with advanced ignition?

Flyer-
I gave it some thought as well as Webers. But the cost is too high and my cam selection would have to be changed.

Ahhhh - 2 carbs - it's hard enough to get 1 tuned 100% perfect on the dyno, I'd hate to think of 2 :D

Not a problem at all.. Actually it's pretty simple with the carbs he's chosen... Try tuning a set of Webers! :)

Sounds like a killer setup! You gonna build it up yourself Bill?

Yes. I have a block and the rods. Just waiting to buy the pistons so I can have the block machined and start the build

Very nice. Can't wait to see it go together! I just started into my FE build-up this week and had to add a few new specialty tools to the arsenal; feel free to let me know if you need to borrow anything for your build.
